WHAT TIME IS IT?
ITS TIME TO ROCK THE WORLD!
Yeah babeh! Thanks to Syahrul of Fat Boys Record, i get to witness Malaysia’s premier rock festival while moshing and snapping pics MINUS the crowd.
Ever since local band is part of my playlist, I’ve never fail to go to RTW! Year in year out, this time i finally get to rock out with the stars, MEDIA style babeh!
This time its really special to me as i get to mingle with the artist and talk to them face to face. Its really cool to finally meet all the artist that have been blasting my stereo every night!
This post will be divided into a few parts as there are too many pictures to be published.
RTW9 Kicked off with Indie Stage at 10.30am. It was a last minute schedule that i wasn’t informed. I missed out Kyoto Protocol’s performance and bands that performed before 12.30pm
So here are the bands that i manage to catch after 12.30pm. Of course not all, because there are 3 stages playing at the same time. HOW CRAZY IS THAT?! I’m so sorry, but I’ve neglected most of the bands that performed in Chillout Stage. Cant blame me right? The main acts are over the walls!
Anyway here are the lineups for Indie Stage :
Brainhead, Car Crash Hearts, Joanna & Co., Pretty Ugly, Skudap Skudip, Auburn, The Otherside Orchestra, Labrat, Couple, Forty Winks, Free Love, Y2k, Stonebay, Sam Kuman, Second Combat, An Honest Mistake, Robot Asmara, Aku & 4 winners from Hypptunes Rock The World 9 band search tour.
To be honest, i don’t know half of them. But hey, enlighten me okay =)
Both of them are the host for the Indie Stage. Didn’t get their name though.
Lets kick start with the first band that performed (Well.. i only came in at 12.30.) Oh yeah, some band that performed, I don’t know their names. So if you guys know, tell me okay? =)

Their beats were kinda cool. I love they drummer!

OH GOD. If im not mistaken this band played 30 Second to Mars song. IT WAS FRIGGING AWESOME. I love the way the vocalist did his own rendition! Awesome stuff. This is the band to look out for. =)

FOURTH BAND. Name: Unknown!
Fourth BAND. Name: Forty Wink.
Sixth BAND. Name: An Honest Mistake.
Haha. The one is yellow is my friend, Leonard Chua. Ive heard of his band but had never take time to listen to their songs. Heard it on RTW9, its a blast! Lurve their single. Definitely a must watch band!
Seventh BAND. Name: Unknown. =p
Honestly, Indie stage has quite a number of good bands. Although not all are nice, but the ones i mentioned rock ass. =) The crowd were fantastic, the rain were awesome and most definitely, the performers sweep Bukit Jalil out of their feet.
The rain was a bit of a turn off as performance were delayed. But still, Indie stage proved that they still have some juice over the Main Stage acts. Crowd were flooding this stage. (Maybe not as much as Main, but heck its one hell of a crowd). Definitely lurve how they way AHM’s lead singer and the female vocalist interact with the crowd. Crowd seemed to love them. Thumbs up mate.
I still have the main stage post and of course the Chillout Stage. So stay tuned to this space.
