XPAX BLACKBERRY CURVE 8250 Launch @ Republic, Sunway!

This event is seriously not the first on my list. I was actually invited to attend an event in Mist Club Bangsar. But because of peer pressure (i.e: no one is going to Mist), i decided to attend this event. And I thought i am gonna regret this. BUT WAIT! Read on!

Being a Blackberry event, it was suppose to be ‘connecting people to the world’ thingy as Blackberry is an all rounder. It connects people, places, work, home, loved ones and of course the internet to the world! When XPAX decided to chip in to organize a launch for this sleek mean machine, you can guess that :

IT’S GONNA BE HELL YEAH AWESOME!

Guess What? It was even sweeter to know that my fav hip hop singer, MR. PRESIDENT,will be dropping a few beats that night. SWEET babeh! –fyi Mr President is Joe Flizzow-

All my life, I’ve been wanting to talk to him and have a chance to have a photo with him, and WALLAH, that’s me cladding with Joe!

OH OH! BTW, People that knows me personally would know that i SUPPORT local acts. And one of my fav band is POP SHUVIT. and who else was there but the lead singer, MOOTS!

But all these will never match the spotlight of the event.

It was the launch of Blackberry’s new mean machine. This new BB is actually like a stripped down version of the higher end ones and is perhaps targeted at budget users. Before i justify what I’ve said, lets just look at the features that i took note of.

Ok here’s the bad part. This phone doesn’t have freaking 3g. I mean like its the best of all………………..err…

SCREW THAT! I freaking need a new phone that can feed my twitter addiction and doesn’t cost me a bomb!

and btw. THANK GOD IT HAS WIFI! lol

As usual, after we bloggers got bored, we then head in to our VIP area for the ‘bonding session’ JUST LOOK>

There’s nothing beats bonding session. NOTHING. love you guys. you make every event AWESOME!

Like I’ve said earlier, Blackberry connects the world. And even through their special launch, they connect people in real life together. No matter how far we are apart, no matter how wide the border that separates us, blackberry brings us closer. Doesn’t matter how do we connect, i.e: twitter, facebook, myspace, what matters the most is WE ARE CONNECTED.

And even in this launch, I’ve network with the bloggers and the best part of all, I made new friends. That’s the power of BLACKBERRY.

Adele introduce her ‘underage’ friends to me. =p Their names are Rabecca and Mei “Mary” Ling respectively. And from there we became friends. The same concept applies to Blackberry. Through BB, we can connect to the world through social networking sites and at the same time explore possibilities. Doesn’t matter its making new friends or just reading news. It falls under 1 umbrella, CONNECTING THE WORLD.

Blackberry does certainly make our life a whole lot easier. We can do wonders with this babe. Send full fledge mails, twitter, facebook, surfing, streaming, watching Manchester United kick Liverpool’s ass (=P). You named it, this Blackberry can do it.

And that is why, i would love to have this BB phone as mine. My life revolves around the online community. Twitter, Facebook, Blogging, MSN.. It’s all part of me. I cant imagine life without all these for a day. Yes i do have hand phone that can tweet and a full featured laptop but it’s never more convenient that to have the best a both worlds, all in one. And that all in one thingy is what i call;

Blackberry.

nuff said.

I don’t have that kind of cash to get his phone.

The next best thing is to just pose with one. LOL.

AHHH BLACKBERRY. LOL

KFC with Jackie

Jackie won RM100 voucher by KFC that entitles him to eat at any KFC, Pizza Hut or Rasa Ayamas outlet.

Well,the ever so kind and lovely Jackie treated us, the people who voted for him, a scrumptious meal at KFC. Thanks Jackie.

One thing ive learnt from blogging is that, people love to see pictures rather than reading wall of text. So yeah, without further a due, lets welcome the pictures…….xD

Ghost of Girlfriend Past – Before movie meet up.

Hey readers. I am still sad over Kak Yasmin’s departure. Not many of my fellow friends share my sentiment. Oh well….

Like today, there is this friend who ask me who died? And i answered Yasmin Ahmad. He ask, what movie does she direct? I said Sepet. And he ask again, is that a Malay movie? I said YES! And he said, no wonder i don’t know about her. And yes after that he gets the shelling of his life. A peace of his mind. On a Monday morning. Great way to start your day huh?

yea. that’s how i scolded him. LOL

Anyway, last Thursday i was one of the privilege few that had the opportunity to catch the upcoming movie Ghost of Girlfriend Past thanks to Buena Vista and Nuffnang.

I meet up with Jackie and Jac and we headed down to One Utama and dine @ Charms Cafe. It was awesome that night. A few others joined us later. So well, let the pictures do the talking. =)
