Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilege Collection NYX

The year 2012 started with a bang with parties being thrown everywhere throughout the country. One such party is by none other than Hennessy V.S.O.P when they launched their limited edition glow in the dark bottle dubbed the Privilege Collection NYX.

As you guys have known, the party was held at a secret location and we were only given gloves to wear. We were asked to collect them at the Hennessy road show at South Court Mid Valley.

At the roadshow, Hennessy are offering the public to get their hands on the limited edition bottle for a promotional price.

The bottle glows in the dark so it is definitely unique and something to look out for. After we registered, we had to wear the white gloves that glows in the dark when the UV lights hit on it. To get to the secret venue, we need to get spotted by the Hennessy Girls where they will escort us to the venue. Its none other than Vertigo!

So yea, in the event itself, we were even given a glow in the dark tattoo.

Guest were allowed to feast ourselves with free flow of Hennessy till 11pm. DJ Blink took the set and everyone partied all night long. It was an awesome night especially with all the glow in the dark stuff such as the gloves, bottles and tattoos.

With the launching of the glow in the dark bottle, I now need an excuse to dig my piggybank to grab hold of the limited edition bottle. After all, how many such bottles exist in the world? And specially from the world renown cognac brand, Hennessy.

Hennessy Artistry 2011

GUYS! Hennessey Artistry is back for the year 2011!

To those of you that missed out last years party (like me), WE CANNOT MISS IT THIS YEAR. Not when Vandalism is here!

For the year 2011, all of you will witness the new Hennessy Artistry experience as they have their new logo straped on, a facebook page rocking online and the all new Hennessy Mixing Zone. All of that for the fun and free booze that will set to rock you all night long!IMG_0148

These are some of the past event pictures but the 2011 Hennessy Artistry event will set to bring the experience bigger and better than its past event!

Leading the line-up at the upcoming H-Artistry party is Australian electro/house duo, Vandalism which comprises of DJ/Producer Andy Van (previously of Madison Avenue fame) and vocalist/songwriter Cassie Van. With distinctive sounds and head turning live performances, Vandalism has over the past two years toured across the globe playing in gigs in London, Miami, Ibiza, Moscow, Greece, South Korea, and Canada. Making their debut on the Hennessy Artistry stage, Australia’s leading electro/dance outfit is ready to infect the dance floors of Voodoo and The Opera come April with Andy tearing up the decks while Cassie belts out some show stopping sexy vocals.

Staying true to Hennessy Artistry’s innovative approach in blending musical genres of the East and West, the upcoming party will also see Malaysia’s very own up and coming rock sensations, Kyoto Protocol conquering the stage. Formed by a group of angsty but fun-loving guys, they combine their varied influences ranging from The Clash to Queens of the Stone Age to create an eclectic mix of punk, soul and electro. Joining them at the party are two of the hottest female DJs in town, Miss Eva T and DJ Lizz. Together, they form Spinderella, a hip-hop, R&B, electro/house spinning duo that churns out tunes which are unique and fresh.

A global musical phenomenon, H-Artistry ‘The Global Art of Mixing’ parties also takes place in some of the largest cities around the world which includes New York, Shanghai, Taipei, and Los Angeles. Which I am grateful that last year, i was the chosen one to attend Hennessy Artistry in Shanghai.

Hennessy Artistry with DJ ALEX DREAM and KARDINAL OFFISHALL

Ever heard of the world renown DJ ALEX DREAM and Canadian hip hop artist KARDINAL OFFISHALL?

Whats the deal breaker right? Guess what, THEY ARE HITTING OUR SHORES and that is all thanks to

HENNESSY ARTISTRY!

With last years biggest Hennessy Artistry in Mount Kiara, this years one would set to be a mouth watering music lovers paradise with more dope beats and heart thumping music making their way to the dance floor.

Last year we have One Buck Short, Yin Yang Twins and of course who can ever forget FAT MAN SCOOP. That night was a night of mayhem. All the superstars brought music lovers to its knees and this time it would be more than that. It would be a euphoric atmosphere accompanied by awesome crowd and lip smacking Hennessy mix!

Completely revolutionizing the arena into a classy world-class club set-up, the hall will feature countless plasma screens displaying head-turning visuals and futuristic bars that will be serving delectable concoctions of Hennessy V.S.O.P signature long drinks such as: Hennessy Apple, Hennessy Berry, Hennessy Ginger, and Hennessy Citrus.

Joining her is local powerhouse band, Deja Voodoo Spells. With an insatiable love for precision-based Rock music, the trio of rockers have garnered a reputation as a no frills, versatile, hard-hitting band. With intricate compositions, the bands CD sales testify their popularity. Taking on the H-Artistry stage for the first time, Deja Voodoo Spells will be on a mission: to fully rock out the crowd at H-Artistry!

Staying true to H-Artistry’s innovative approach in blending musical genres of the East and West, the upcoming H-Artistry party will also see Taiwan’s rhythm pumping HipHop quartet, Da Mouth, take on the stage. Regarded as the Black Eyed Peas of Asia, Da Mouth is storming through the international music scene with their high-energy performances and their concoction of multi-talented and multi-racial group members. Da Mouth’s fun and funky club hip-hop brings something different to mainstream Mando-pop, as does their unique member composition. The group is formed by many hyphens: Canadian-Taiwanese MC 40, Korean-Taiwanese-American male vocalist Harry, Japanese-Taiwanese DJ Chung Hua, and Japanese female vocalist.

Malaysia meanwhile, will be represented by three diverse top-class acts. The first artiste is best known for her recent collaboration with Colby O’Donis for her hit single ‘What You Waiting For’. Mizz Nina, whose music is influenced be the likes of MC Lyte, Run DMC and Lauren Hill, brings something fresh to the local music scene with her flipped musical style, on-stage delivery and unique lyrical poetry. Previously known as the hot siren from the ‘Teh Tarik Crew’, Mizz Nina is a force to be reckoned with as she dives headlong into turning the local music industry a notch higher.

Joining them on 2010’s biggest H-Artistry stage yet is DJ Alex Dreamz, one of America’s top disc jockeys. With over 130 remixes to date, Alex Dreamz’ remixes and club edits have been embedded into sets far and near, banged by the likes of legendary open format DJs and countless of top club jocks. He also currently spins for KIIS FM, Los Angeles’s number one hit music station. Ready to rock any crowd off the ground, DJ Alex Dreamz has set his sights in bringing the house down with his signature club, electro, and house tunes.

Leading the line-up at the upcoming H-Artistry party is Canadian Hip-Hop icon, Kardinal Offishall. Having started rapping at the age of eight and winning competitions by the time he was 12, Kardinal is the result of a mix of pure talent and an obsessed passion for music. Credited as Canada’s ‘hip-hop ambassador’ Kardinal teamed up with iconic music mogul, Akon and released the infamous ‘Dangerous’ track that echoed around the globe peaking at #5 on the Billboard 100. Now back with his latest Mr. International album, Kardinal Offishall is ready to infect the dance floors once again with his blend of dancehall reggae and hip-hop mesh.

-And who can ever forget Kardinal Offishal, the man who sang Dangerous with Konvict Akon! I can wait for this award winning hip hop superstar to hit our shores n drop some beat! Man H.A will be one hell of a fun! -
