Freedom 360!

FREEDOM is finally back and here to take the nation by storm. Year on year we bring the hottest artistes from around the world to sold-out audiences all over Malaysia. But this year, FREEDOM is doing something new. We heard the cries of boredom, that everything is same old, same old, so we’re shaking things up! For the first time ever, we’re letting you choose what goes where in our nationwide events.

Staying true to FREEDOM, we’ll be bringing in a host of international DJs to spice things up – but it’s up to you to make the rest happen. Embracing the concept of co-creation, FREEDOM: Voice Your Choice (VYC) is calling all FREEDOM fans to vote for which local DJ gets to spin, what they wear, the experiences and even down to whether they want to have free-flow.

How to vote? From electronic direct mailer, SMS messages to flyers: all signs point to the FREEDOM site to cast a vote. Aside the website, the FREEDOM fan page on Facebook is also abuzz with information and is a great place to strike up conversations with both fans and DJs alike; not to mention to find out more about anything FREEDOM.

There’s also lucrative prizes to be won such as iPad 2, Panasonic Lumix LX5 camera and iPod Nano with Griffin Slapwatches and more. Beyond that, FREEDOM is always looking for prop local talents; so for those with creative, curious and boldly expressive blood in their veins, submit your original artwork or photo and if yours is chosen, they’ll showcase your art on a LED curtain in all the events.

Freedom series will kick off on 9 July in Penang with electro star DJ Sid Vicious (USA). On 15 July, DJ Blink will be joining him in Melaka for the series. Hip hop electro masher DJ Ray Ray (Taiwan) will grace the decks of Freedom’s JB tour on 16 July before the finale hits Kuala Lumpur (23 July) with headliners Dutch DJ-producer Mischa Daniels and DJ Kid Kaio (Japan) spinning alongside locals Lapsap and Fono. No words on the exact venue for now but we will keep you posted.

Who will play at each of these venues and what will the experience be like? It’s up to you! You have one vote per day to vote for what you want to see in your state so vote, voice your choice and stay tuned. FREEDOM… It’s time to make it yours.

FREEDOM 360 at JB DISCOVERY

Thanks to Chris, im heading down to JB AGAIN… for another Rave party, FREEDOM 360. Was here last year for Recharge and it was freaking cool especially with DJ Proteous dropping that beat. This time around at Freedom, DJ Karpe-DM is gonna show  JB peeps what HARDSTYLE is all about!

 Because of the fact that Jamie has NO LIFE and her life only revolves around assignment, i just had to drag her with me to JB to party. She just had to chill, relax and have a drink. Seriously assignments everyday is too much too handle for a student la. AND SO FREEDOM WAS THE WAY TO GO! =)

Not to forget, the gorgeous Michelle Lee was with us too. Well Chris was also with us but he refuse to take pic with us. WTF. So totally diff from JonYKT. hahha

DJ Drive hyping the crowd before the maestro take the stage. Hardstyle babeh. By 12am, hard bass were thumping through the stereos, the babes were shaking their booty and the hunks were hallucinating to the euphoric beats. IMG_1785

Despite all the music and booze, one thing for sure, the company that night just make the whole thing hit the right spot. It was an ‘orgasmic’ night. The crowd, the company. Heaven.  IMG_1729

You wouldn’t dare to challenge me on how orgasmic the event was. After all why would Michelle be doing that if she wasn’t all hyped up and smexing her way through the night.

By 1am, the club is jam packed with people and DJ Karpe-DM, the highlight of the night, took the stage by storm. Every corner of the club were either dancing to the beats or shuffling. Even Chris and I cannot resist the temptation and shuffled.IMG_1771

The crowd were seriously hyped up. I was hyped up. The world were worshiping hard dance as God. It was awesome. Beyond imaginable!

It was a night of mayhem. Everything was inch perfect. The freeflow of booze was lurve. =) Definitely a must go event. If you guys love raving, hardstyle and of course free flow of booze, then get your wild side and start partying with me in future Freedom events.
