First we have LCD TV, then we have Plasma TV, then came along the environmental friendly LED TV and this time around, Samsung, the NO. 1 TV maker in the world came up with 3D LED TV for the very first time!
Thanks to Edelmen, i manage to attend the launch of World’s First LED TV.
According to them, the LCD TV is able to produce and convert 2D movies/videos/ or any other input signal into FREAKING 3D! COOL RIGHT? (wait up peps)
Yup. As you can see, the top part is blurry while the one going through the specs is clear. So yea, the 3D works =p
I am sure some of my readers are tech savvy right? So you guys might noticed that we can also render 3D movies using our computer and so ive asked Samsung representative why SHOULD I NEED this TV WHEN EVEN MY COMPUTER CAN DO THE SAME THING FOR FREE?
His answer? “Your computer could not render 3D movies to 2D.” Haha which is quite true. =p And oh yeah he also mentioned older people wouldn’t want the hassle to view 3D movies. hmmm… He did his homework before the launch huh. =p
YEP! As usual, 3D rendering is created by merging two images together at a slightly different position to create a blur like image and can only be viewed properly using a special 3D glass. AND yes that is the glass which cost a whopping RM599.
Being NO. 1 in the TV market, Samsung had also included the WIFI functionality in the TV itself to allow consumers to surf the web, check Facebook, Twitter, share music with wireless speakers and to view photos/videos from digital camera/computer wirelessly! HOW COOL IS THAT?! xD
DONT PLAY PLAY! An integrated Twitter App in the TV WEI! (haha ignore that user profile on the TV. :p )
And a virtual keyboard to tweet! This is so freaking cool right?! Imagine you can tweet while watching TV and etc.. Everything is on your screen! You can even surf the web!
YUP! Internet TV! You can share photos videos and etc etc! AWESOME! =)
After the launch, everyone was treated with a scrumptious meal. I can tell you, this is one of the best lunch buffet meal for any product launch. How often can you get lamb, salmon and etc?
With years of experience in TV making, from CRT TVs to Plasma and now 3D LED, Samsung has certainly proved itself once again to be the market leader in Digital TV technology. Its no wonder Samsung can dominate the market and produce wide range of TV’s to suit our taste. The heads up preview of this TV certainly brought light to most of us as this is the first 3D LED TV in the world. Experience 3D right from the comfort of your sofa, only with Samsung. =)
