My Melaka Cheng Beng TRIP! =))

Hey hey! I know I’ve promised a post about my life, but before i put them up, let me post a still-considered-personal-post – my trip to Meleka for Cheng Beng. HEH!

Ok so basically, my grandma, every year, would head down to Melaka for ‘cheng beng’ and stay at my granduncle’s house at Rumpun Bahagia. Well, cheng beng festival falls on the first day of the fifth solar term, named Qingming. Its name denotes a time for people to go outside and enjoy the greenery of springtime (?? Tàq?ng, “treading on the greenery”) and tend to the graves of departed ones. So yea, you would know what to expect in this post. =p

My granduncle loves to decorate his house. He enjoys having ‘antique’ stuff and he is GOOD at Landscaping.

Everyone busy cleaning the grave in the scorching hot sun, i busy taking photos, AWESOME RIGHT? =p

I visited my auntie who is Melaka. She’s married to a quite ‘yeng’ man and OMGOD they have 2 adorable sons wei!!!

This is the youngest son, and he is so HANDSOME. I bet he is gonna be one hunkie when he grows up!

Anyway, my auntie were kind enough to bring us to Jonker Street to savor the Cendol there. You know the famous shop, i forgot the name. But mention ABC or Cendol, and everyone instantly pictures this place.

You see, the best cendol in the world is usually served with gula Melaka. And that’s what you get. The ice were really fluffy and nice to eat. Unlike certain cendol where their ice are rough. This is just perfect. =)

Later, we head home and they even got us Wan Tan Mee and Fried Oyster. The fried oyster was normal but the wan tan mee is SPECIAL!. Look… >>>

YUP! Typical wan tan mee is black! But this is white. OH YEA, Dont be deceived by its plain dull color, this mee is freaking awesome. I dont know how they manage to make a dull mee into something so awesome. LOVE THIS! This shop is located at Kampung 8, Melaka. Near Melaka Sentral only.

CUTE RIGHT?! THEY ARE SO FREAKING CUTE! The eldest one is Jack while the youngest one is .. err i 4got. BUT WHO CARES! I WANNA CUBIT HIS CHEEK! OMGOD.

So next day, we headed out early to fulfil our ‘duties’ to clean our ancestors graveyards. It was freaking burning hot wei.. Luckily there’s wind blowing. hmm..

After the ‘duties’ ended, my granduncle and his family brought us to eat at a restaurant. Guess what, it was only RM200 for 7dishes for 12 people to eat. OMGOD RIGHT? Melaka’s food are down right cheap. =)

This the the famous Jalan Bunga Raya Popiah. It taste good but the popiah at SS14 beside Digital Mall is even nicer. =)

For those of you who is following me on Twitter, you must know that I’ve been craving for PORK SATAY! Know why? Cuz the Melaka’s PORK SATAY is DAMN AWESOME! The Kuah Kacang has pineapple in it so you would be able to taste a hint of sour and sweet at the same time. It’s really out of this world.

YUP! Satay Babi! hahha. Go try. It’s at Bachang. =)

Anyway, this would be the first of many ‘personal’ post that i’ve promise my dear readers. Stay tune at this space okay? =p

MAYFLOWER AND MY EUROPE TRIP! =)

Remember, a few post back, I told you that i am going Europe? YEP! Thanks to MayFlower.. IM REALIZING MY LONG TIME VACATION DREAM! WOOTS

Yup! All thanks to this advert in the Star. The variety of offers and low prices are definitely a deal breaker. No doubt, there are a lot of competition out there, with lotsa hidden charges during Matta Fair, but its all well worth when you are gonna get high quality service at a unbelievable price. AGREE?

Oh yeah, not to forget, their travel and win competition that will allow you to be in the running to win prices of more than RM100k! I am still waiting in anticipation for them to announce the winner! =p hehe

Oh yeah, to those of you who’ve been to Matta Fair a few week back, notice a few sandwich man walking around? HAHA. Thats MayFlower’s SANDWICH MAN! They look damn cute can! They really did amuse me! From their sandwich man to the uber funny clown >>

Mayflower really nailed it right during the 3 days of Matta Fair. The booth were strategic, the performance was awesome, the deal was and is still jaw dropping and most of all the salesperson were spot on in briefing potential customers.

Just by looking at the amount of people flocking their booth, you’ll get the idea. SO to those of you that missed out this opportunity, don’t worry the deals still stay! You can always visit them at their office or you can always wait for the Next Matta Fair. You know which booth to go the next time right? =p

MATTA Fair 2010 – MayFlower Travels

MATTA Fair is back this year with bigger and better deals. And as you guys know, reputable and giant tourism company are banging PWTC with great offers and special deals. Streets were crowded with people. Traffic was backed up all the way from KL to PWTC. Honks, bad jams and fights are a common sight, but one thing for sure, patrons were busy planning for their next dream vacation!

MAYFLOWER had their booth outside of PWTC to prevent patrons from having to pay RM3! Luckily for most people, you can get cheap deals, spacious space and friendly sales representative attending to you! You don’t even need to packed with the others in PWTC !

With cheap deals ranging from local attractions to Europe, you will be spoilt for choices. Mayflower even have a special package for the Muslims to avoid anything that might be against their religion! See?! How cool is Mayflower to even care for the needs of our Muslim friends despite being a a subsidiary of Warisan Tan Chong Motors. =)

As usual, every year Mayflower will have a contest for its customer to win Nissan’s Grand Livina! Imagine being able to travel and at the same time, in the running to win a CAR! That’s what you get when you travel with MayFlower.

MayFlower were really vigorous in their business plan and had their people passing flyers all over. They even had a sandwich man carrying a banner on the CHEAP offers they have to offer. In such competitive environment, its a wonder to see MayFlower standing out of the crowd and be able to attract customers. =)

Did i tell you, you can even buy airplane tickets from MayFlower. MayFlower is an agent for big airlines company such as MAS and AirAsia and they sell at a lower price. So if anytime you need an airplane tickets when they have a limited time offer, you know who you need to find. =)

Needless to say, despite being all about promoting their lucrative travel package, Mayflower had also prepared some performance to entertain potential customers and patrons alike.

Mayflower hired this clown to entertain guests especially the young ones. He gave out balloons to them. This fella is freaking funny lah… He tickled me.. wtf! (gay right? xD)

I have a feeling, he looks quite good. =p

Not only that, guest were also entertained with drum performance every 2 hours. 11oclock, 1pm and 3pm. It was entertaining to watch these young people playing traditional drums. (Even better, i spotted some hot chicks =p )

Guest were also entertained with a Thai traditional dance performance. According to the emcee, they were imported all the way from Thailand. They had a solid 15minutes performance that got the crowd cheering. Their demure move is certainly an eye catcher especially to the male patrons.

And so here is the rest of the staff working their ass off. =)

By the way, have you heard of the the new Air Asia Premium seats. Here it is!!!

THIS CHAIR IS A DAMN AWESOME ONE! Its digitized and you can move it up and down. AWESOME SHYTE! You can see people of all walks of life, take their time to sit on the chair and play with it. Including this man. He was practically enjoying himself while feasting to Julie’s biscuit.
