The year 2012 started with a bang with parties being thrown everywhere throughout the country. One such party is by none other than Hennessy V.S.O.P when they launched their limited edition glow in the dark bottle dubbed the Privilege Collection NYX.

As you guys have known, the party was held at a secret location and we were only given gloves to wear. We were asked to collect them at the Hennessy road show at South Court Mid Valley.

At the roadshow, Hennessy are offering the public to get their hands on the limited edition bottle for a promotional price.

The bottle glows in the dark so it is definitely unique and something to look out for. After we registered, we had to wear the white gloves that glows in the dark when the UV lights hit on it. To get to the secret venue, we need to get spotted by the Hennessy Girls where they will escort us to the venue. Its none other than Vertigo!

Jason with the white gloves.

So yea, in the event itself, we were even given a glow in the dark tattoo.

Guest were allowed to feast ourselves with free flow of Hennessy till 11pm. DJ Blink took the set and everyone partied all night long. It was an awesome night especially with all the glow in the dark stuff such as the gloves, bottles and tattoos.

With the launching of the glow in the dark bottle, I now need an excuse to dig my piggybank to grab hold of the limited edition bottle. After all, how many such bottles exist in the world? And specially from the world renown cognac brand, Hennessy.

I also did the usual benchmark test, and yea the result is pretty predictable. Nothing to shout about as its all the same for every NVidia Tegra tablet.

Lenovo has even their own appstore for apps that are optimized for their tablet. (: They even throw in RM200 worth of paid application for you. Or we can also call that, bloatware. LOL!.. Wait, bloatwares are trial programs, but this is full version! So there’s a difference.

Today, over 10, 000 students are enrolled in over 22 courses ranging from Certificate programs to Diploma, Degree and Masters programs.

With the Early Clinical Skills development program, students are given minimal lectures and go through rotational clinical postings. They are expected to change their learning mode to an apprenticeship or internship type model where most of learning is achieved by seeing patients in different context and setting.
MAHSA has also set up various clinics within the KL region:
MAHSA Medical Clinics, Dental OPDs, Physiotherapy Centers, Eye Clinic
The main purpose of these clinics are mainly for the clinical training of students
Students and their families are entitled for subsidized care in any one of the above facilities.

Mahsa had invited a few of us to tour their college to look at their state of art facility that beats any private University out there.

MAHSA-COLLEGE-LAB-5

This is their state of art lab that has computers connected to the lecturer’s PC. I don’t know if you notice, theres a white board in the background. Its no ordinary white board. Its an electronic white board that is ALSO connected to the PC. It can even pull searches from google and etc. Now that even beats any IT college in Malaysia! (:

Here are some of the eerie pictures of human body parts that were dissected in the lab. I couldn’t stand just looking at em’

P1040081

This is their lab with models to help them learn better

P1040085

These are real human body parts that are ‘preserved’ to allow students to see and feel the original shape of it. Its done in their own private workshop themselves! (:

This is their own physio center that allows subsidize rate to those who could not afford professional services outside. The rates are cheap but the people running it are the students themselves. It gives them a ground to train! Win-win situation!

They even provide services on their own community clinic that also provides subsidize rates! So anyone who are strap for cash could actually enjoy professional help at an affordable rate. Like the physio center, the community clinic gives student a ground to train and at the same time jobs for graduates.

The community clinics are : Mahsa Medical Clinic

                                                          Mahsa Dental OPD

                                       Mahsa Physiotherapy Center

                                       Mahsa and Lion eye Clinic

And for those of you who are curios on the partnership with foreign universities, Mahsa has collaborated with a few prestige Universities around the Globe.

The Northumbria University, UK is MAHSA’s oldest partner. With approximately 1500 students studying in MAHSA, MAHSA is the largest international student body outside Northumbria! and apart from that, Teesside University, Liverpool John Moores University, UK

Mahsa also collaborated with LIJ University, New York, USA.

So what are you waiting for? If you are interested in the study of human body, anatomy, and want to explore the wonders of God’s creation, Mahsa is the place to go. Visit their open day for more info. (:
