Greetings hyped people. Last Wednesday, my friend has this crazy idea out of a sudden to head to KLANG from Bukit Jalil (I am studying in APIIT) to feast on our all time favorite BAK KUT TEH!
Well you cant blame he, can you, especially when he is a Klang boy. Jason to be exact.
So we headed to where he stay, which is ………
So there is 6 of us including Jason’s GF.
Jason, Me,Dwayne, Andrew and Weng Seem
It took us 1 hour plus to get there.
This shop is near Taman Sentosa, Klang. Almost near to Jusco Aeon.
And its called Bak Kut Teh Yap Eng![]()
Umm, I dont know how to read chinese ( yeah yeah I am a banana =.=). But i do know its English name which is , …….
As you can see from the menu above, a dry Bak Kut Teh cost RM 9 while the one with soup cost RM 8. Per head.
And forgive me for the picture quality, i am using my friends camera phone. Its only 2 MP. I didn’t bring mine since this outing is a random thing. We are random freaks.=p
FYI this is my first time I’ve ever heard of dry Bak Kut Teh. All this while I have only heard of the Soup Bak Kut Teh.
I decided to give it a try.
*dry Bak Kut Teh*
Correct me if I am wrong, this lip smacking meat looks like its being fried with herbs and spices and of course DRIED CHILI.-yummyyy-. But I don’t care how is this meat being cooked or what, the bottom line is
THIS DISH IS AWESOMELY GOOD!
WTF! IM SERIOUS!

Ok now now, lets not get carried away. It is serve with a plate of rice ( not enough for most of us. Too small. xD) and a bowl of soup. Oh yeah the soup is equally good too.
Jason feast himself ( and his GF of course) with a bowl of …….. ?

Ive not try this dish but from what I see, Jason and his GF seem to be eating this *coughs* fats *coughs* to the very last bit.
Must be enjoying it I guess. Yeew. xD
Oh yeah before i forget, I’ve not seen this before. Have you?
According to my friend, people usually bring their own tea leaf and use this tea pot to make em’. Never heard of this tradition.
Oh well, Klang tradition i guess.
Woohoo.. I’ve learned losta new thing.
Overall, the food quality was superb and the service is quite speedy.
Nothing much to complain thought except for the fact i saw an

I don’t care how you dress la, but if you are ugly please don’t be an AH BENG.
He just look so horrendous. =_=

uh oh..makes me drooling..
btw, tht tea thingie also got in KL, as well as gohtong jaya BKT..lol
wahh it’s also my first time hearing DRY bak kut teh ^^
i first heard of dru BKT when i worked in Cyber (of coz i had to travel all the way to Seri Kembangan lah) and tried it out, only to find out that i still prefer the soup-based one…
ooh..i meant the tea set..the BKT exclusive in Klang cos not that many customers out of Klang wanted it..better just locate it in one spot.. Other places prefer the soup BKT which has more herbal and clear soup rather than the almost sludgy ones…
haha nice..
i ate there at klang once before..
but i dun like the “inner” parts.. lol
