Double boiled soup and traditional Chinese dish is well known to be the speciality of Paradise Inn. Although they are popular for that, many customers wanted individual dishes from small pax. With that, paradise inn introduces an extensive range of such demand which comes in 20 selection of various food accompanied by the famous double boiled soup , fresh vegetables, 3 side dishes of the day and jasmine tea.

Various tea are served here and as a tea lover, i am delighted to know the wide range of teas that are available here are to my liking. The teas are : Lily Flower & Forget Me Not, Lavender & Rosemary, Rose & Forget Me Not and Jasmine & Osmanthus.

I was told that the tea is rich in phytochemicals such as vitamins, terpenoids and flavonoids. You can tell them apart, but heck it taste good.

So there are 4 categories of the main course : the Chargrilled, Hot Stone Bowl, Hot Steaming Basket and Mini Wok.

Supreme Seafood Fried Rice.

(RM 20.90++ )

Typical fried rice with assorted seafood and egg yolk. It only includes scallop and prawn.clip_image008
Lap mei fan or Fried Rice with Chinese Sausage.

( RM19.90++)

I dont really fancy lap mei fan, however its edible an quite impress with the wok hei that was present. Normally, i wont get such taste eating at other places.

Stir-Fried Udon with Black pepper Sauce and Seafood

( RM 22.20)

I love Udon like my gf do and we both agree that this Udon taste awesome although it may not be as authentic as to our liking. The black paper tasted really good with the udon. A must try.

clip_image012
Stir-fried beef slice with spring onion.

(RM23.90++)

My gf doesnt take beef so fortunately for me, I can have it all to myself. It is not hard to chew and is just right although they could add more flavours to it so that it’ll taste better. clip_image014
Stir-fried sweet sour pork.

(RM 19.90++)

The pork cutlet is fried perfectly before dipping it in the sweet and sour sauce. Its tender and crisp pork pieces is a perfect companion to the sweet and sour sauce. P1040993
Steamed Minced Pork Patty with Salted Fish .

(RM19.90)

Despite it being a normal delicacy to the Chinese, i find this pork patty a lil on a weird side. I suspect it is because of the salted fish. I bet anyone who loves salted fish would love this dish. As for me, ill give it a pass. P1040995
Taiwanese Style Stewed Chicken in Supreme Soy Sauce.

(RM20.90++)

This is the Taiwan stewed chicken glazed in supreme soy sauce topped on fluffy rice in a hot stone bowl. It easily topped my taste bud and i gave it an extreme 10 over 10 for being my favourite dish of the day.  Crispy and tasty P1050005
Spicy seafood and home made sauce.

(RM23.90++)

This easily also becomes my favourite dish as the home made sauce is similar to asam. But, the prawn is infused with it and each bite brings out the sweetness of the prawn and the home made sauce. Recommended

P1050009
Crispy Fermented Pork Ribs.

(RM23.90++)

It tasted bland but not bad. Not my favourite dish too.
P1050019
Chicken Drumlets with Spiced Marination.

(RM20.90++)

It tasted salty and feels like it’ is full of flavouring. The chicken meat is tender however there is no hint of any spice. It feels like an ordinary chicken drumlets.

Back to business.

Nov. 10th | Posted by 0 comments

Yes, yes, I know my blog is dead for quite some time. Priorities were set and I have to forgo something I enjoy doing. But hey, I am back now. With style!

A lot of stuff happened during my hiatus period and I shall briefly update you on what’s piping.

First, I was single since April (but not anymore ) so yea, lets’ not dwell on the past, shall we?

During the month of February, I was on a trip of a lifetime to Dubai and London to create a pilot travel show with celebrity Radio Announcer cum Pilot, JFK. Instead of forcing you to read a immensely long entry on my experience there and what we did, why not just watch the first episode? The link to the subsequent episode is at the description section!

I’ll do a separate blog post on my experience and bla bla bla with more pictures of the trip. I know it’s overdue, but hey it’s never too late.

So moving on, as seen from the post above, you’ll know that I am doing videos as my hobby. So what gear I use most? This >

Yep, the Panny AF100. I have the Panny GH2 and Canon 550D as my B cams. I must admit, Panny camera’s produce one of the cleanest and highest resolution images in it’s class while Canon DSLR are just blearghhhh….

Apart from that, I shot my first short film. It wasn’t made public due to certain agreement with someone but here’s a picture of the set > (Credits to YauHui of yauhui.com)

Photo: Multi-million dollar production!

Also, I was involved in shooting a Islamic program with my Iranian friends. It was an amazing experience to really work in a broadcast studio.

Photo: Awesome Dr. Malik . Nice talking to him.

And finally, this is the love of my life <3 (photo credit to Wai Ken)

Apr. 1st | Posted by 0 comments

So, after being hiatus for a long time, I am finally back to give you guys a sneak peak of what I’ve been doing all along while spending in shopping malls. It’s the Bcard! Bcard is owned by BLoyalty Sdn. Bhd. The card is actually a customer loyalty card where customers are allowed to gain points while shopping and redeemed their points for anything by the participating partners nationwide.

So, its just a loyalty card, what’s so great about it? Well take a peek at the list below!

  • No registration fee required upon signing up
  • No annual fee & lifetime membership
  • Instant redemption at participating outlets
  • Allows partial redemption (a minimum of 100 points)
  • Points expiry is 36 months after issuance
  • Points checking via SMS or online
  • Exclusive online redemption at http://www.bcard.com.my

So by the looks of it, I guess you already know how this card works. Now, how does Bcard looks like?

One of the participating partners is Starbucks and well, I pretty much bought lotsa drink as I am a heavy shopper. Being rewarded with free Starbucks is just so awesome. Imagine shopping for clothes and at the end of the day, quenching your thirst with FREE Starbucks. Smile with tongue out
